Missed me, missed me, now ya gotta...

Hurricane wilma on radar. Missed Tampa Bay for the most part. Drove to
work this AM with some street lights and and some power outages in the
Sulpher Springs area. We had power all through the night thanks to
buried power lines!

Vacation!

Went to Treasure Island, FL. For a little relaxation with Em, Pat,
Gerrie, Rebekah, Irene, we went on a "Pirate Ship day cruise. Have to
say that the John's Pass Pirate Cruise was a LOT of fun. Dancing,
unlimited beverages and a great sunset. Painted faces, dancing, and
happy people!

Men are pigs!

I originally posted this a few years ago under a different handle. I recently "googled" myself and found my old rant. I thought it worth a cut and paste repeat....
----

Hello, my name is Bob ("hello Bob!). I am a pig. I don't know exactly how I got to be a pig. Perhaps I was born this way, or perhaps through some trauma of my youth I got confused and found the porcine life attractive. Whatever the case may be, I need to acknowledge what I am: A pig.
Growing up all I ever knew were pigs as role models. I watched TV shows like "Father Knows Best", "My Three Sons", etc. but never knew real males who were not pigs.
For many years I tried hard not to be a pig. I even thought that if I were a faithful husband, good father, and good provider, (I am still all those things!) that I would not be a pig. I cook, camp with the family, help my kids with their homework, regularly take my wife out on dates, but I am what I am: A pig.
My wife doesn't really call me a pig. The planet does. Movies, television, books, school, the work place..all remind me that I might even be all those good things that women claim to want but that does not change what I am. I am a man and men are pigs!
The first step to Recovery is to admit that I am powerless to change on my own. I need to rely on a higher power to change me. Women!
Yes, it is true. If men ever live up to their full potential it will be because we first admit what we are, then accept that we lack the power to change.
Some men do not understand why women still say they are pigs when they do not meet the usual discription if pigness. It is because they do not understand Corporate Responsibility.
Corporate Responsibility: Although an individual man may be all the things modern women claim they want such individuals still must accept the responsibility for all mankind because, as we all know, just because a pig does not act like a pig does not mean that he is NOT a pig!
Join the ranks of other men who have come to understand themselves as they are viewed by women. Stand up before a watching world and say, "I'm a pig!"
